L&I Covers Acupuncture

Injured At Work? Acupuncture Can Return You To Your Job Faster.

The Department of Labor and Industries (L&I) will now cover up to 10 acupuncture treatments in WA State for back pain related to a work injury.

The criteria for coverage is that the pain must be a lumbar/low back pain work related injury. All you need to do is file a claim with your supervisor or HR department, and see your doctor for an acupuncture referral for L&I benefits.

I am a registered provider for Acupuncture L&I benefits. Please bring in your claim number and I will take care of the billing for you.

Oral B12 Vs. Injection:  What’s the Difference In Benefits?

Many people have poor absorption of nutrients due to diet, medications, digestive issues and other health conditions. Injections can be absorbed more readily and can be given intramuscularly or subcutaneously.

How Long Does It Take?

B12 Injections are easy and take less than 15 minutes.  B12 is gently placed in acupuncture points on the lower leg while you are seated or resting your eyes for a moment on the table.  It’s an efficient way to boost your energy and health and easily fits into your day.  The recommended frequency will depend on your health goals.
