Mental Health Fall Focus

Mental Health Fall Focus

I hope you are feeling strong and healthy and enjoying the beautiful transition into fall. I find myself spending more time hiking/biking outdoors and soaking up the sunlight.

Autumn has arrived and with it comes shorter days. This year has brought all of us many challenges, and I’ve noticed an uptick in reported feelings of anxiety, depression and stress within my patients and also my community.

Chronic isolation isn’t good for anyone’s physical health or mental wellness. I encourage you to reach out and check on the people in your community. I recommend using the phone (voice or video) to see how they really are and let them know how you are. This benefits both you and them. Its also helpful to smile at people through your mask and make eye contact. ☺

Please let me know if you are feeling stressed, anxious, or not sleeping well. I am here to help you.
